Tiramisu Bliss Balls
Roll the flavours of a classic Italian dessert into small morsels of deliciousness. Double-up the energy with caffeine from coffee and cacao. So go ahead and indulge in these tiny balls of pure joy! Just make sure to savour each decadent bite.
Makes: 24 (1.25cm) balls
Prepare: 5-10 minutes plus 1h chilling
Storage: Up to 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge or 1 month in the freezer.
Ingredients:
- 85g whole cashews, plus extra shredded for rolling
- 50g walnuts
- 135g pitted Medjool dates
- 2 tbsp cashew butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp finely ground organic coffee
- 1 tbsp raw cacao or unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- pinch of sea salt
- 20g shredded coconut, plus extra for rolling
1. Place the nuts in a food processor and pulse until crumbly, but not completely smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and process until the mixture is well combined.
2. Use a small spoon to scoop out the mixture and roll into 1 inch morsels, using slightly wet hands to form the balls.
3. Lightly cover each bliss ball with crushed cashews or shredded coconut and place on a baking sheet. Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!
